An 11-1 club majority was required for the plan to progress to a vote of Scottish Football League clubs scheduled for Friday. However, both St Mirren and Ross County voted against the proposal at Hampden on Monday. It is likely that the current make-up of 12-10-10-10 will continue for the next campaign. Immediately after the meeting, Aberdeen chairman Stewart Milne accused the two dissenting clubs of "ruining Scottish football". St Mirren chairman Stewart Gilmour refused to comment. All fans want is a bigger league with play-offs; it's not rocket science. johnnyk 158 Posted April 15, 2013 Share Posted April 15, 2013 It would seem Mr Milne is a little pissed off. what a shame I'm glad Ross County held firm, it was terrible pressure they had put on them by these other chairmen, SPL and SFA. I don't understand the rush, it's better getting it right no matter how long it takes. There was some good points but the structure was a joke.
