No need to rewrite history when it is all there.

Although Johnston said the board was split on whether the Whyte deal would get over the finishing line, he added: “The board are reflective of my view which is, if we can get this thing right, it will be good.”

“I think he is a businessman who is very bright and I think he has been very strategic, historically, in how successful he has been. He has done it but keeps his cards very close to his chest. I could tell that his analysis was very enthusiastic but realistic. I would say that he is aspirational but realistic.”

It's all accurate though. Whyte is bright and successful if success is measured in how much money he makes for himself. He takes a very strategic view of business and businesses, and indeed does play his cards close to his chest. I'd also say his spoken plan for Rangers at the beginning fits exactly to what AJ said. it became clear a short time later he'd other less public plans.

Spew Keevins wrote it.

Yes and between them Nuremberg and Jackson managed a cornucopia of unmitigated malice towards The Rangers with only one end, that to stir up and regurgitate that which had already been laid to rest by Pinsent Masons.

My fervent hope is that Pinsent Masons take these haters to task for implying some sort of incompetence or worse on the part of Pinsent Masons .

TBH I still dont know how he fooled the majority! He looked and still looks a creep imo.

Ps.......Similar with Green & Co

In a word 'MONEY'. When he was a billionaire business turnaround Specialist wanting to invest in Rangers, he looked the debonair charismatic entrepreneur. When he turned out to be a Street trader conman with holes in his shoes. he looked every bit a bong eyed slithering toe rag.

All we know about Pinsent Masons report is what Irvine has spun to us not exactly an endorsement that much confidence can be placed in is it?

Looks can be deceiving, and are ephemeral anyway.

Look at the US Office and that new crime drama starring James Spader. Wtf happened to him? I thought he still looked like he did in 'Stargate', all floppy hair and the eternal student look, and it turns out he's old & fat.

Craig Whyte is James Spader.
