Recently i read Celtic made between £2.5m and £3.5m profit from merchandising, they sell around a quarter of a million jerseys a year, are we to believe they sell so much more other merchandise to make up that huge profit? Possibly produced in batches. ie. once a certain number is reached the order to produce is made. With so many being ordered it may mean delivery times are reduced.
