Rangers and the loan market: Embrace it

Recommended Posts

And dylan dykes misses out.

I don't think Dykes is better than the loan players, right now,and I believe Warburton thinks the same, but that's not to say the Dykes won't get better and become a fantastic player!,having said that would you play Dykes before the loan players just because he is our youth player but didn't have the same effect?.

We need to keep winning and get promoted and also go as far as we can in the cups and get the winning habit.

If W arburton didn't need loan players we wouldn't have loan players!,also he maybe has ambitions of signing the loan players?

We've been fortunate that all of the players we signed in the summer(not the loan signings) have come in & done a reasonably good job so far.

But that's not always been the case. McCoist was putting SPL journeymen on longterm deals they'd never have got anywhere else. Last season that went badly wrong when they got found out big style. That cost us a fortune & DK alluded to this when all those players got released at the end of last season.

Loan signings generally aren't longterm & if they don't impress then it's not as bad as having two years or so remaining on their contracts like McCoists SPL journeymen

He certainly isn't but we need to get him there.

We would get promoted no problem without the loan players.

Very true mate, however I believe Warburton is challenging the youth players to get to a certain standard!,it's not just about getting promoted this season though,it's about setting a standard for now and the future

You DON'T know that.

Winning is a habit we can get used to, and we don't want to break a winning habit.

The way this team is going we could have the league sewn up by Feb./Mar., that leaves plenty of time to allow our own youngsters to show their stuff.

Pride comes before a fall. Get promotion before operating on ideals.

We were winning before they joined so I do.
