It seems we are just behind Everton with the bookies. I can't see us getting anyway near the wage he would want unless he decides the project is worth taking a massive wage cut. On 14 July 2015, Van Persie joined Turkish Süper Lig side Fenerbahçe on a three-year deal for a fee claimed by Fenerbahçe to be £3.84 million Fenerbahçe want him off the wage bill, I don't think that is the problem. At Everton he will get a chance to play at the highest (well EPL) level and for a good wage, but with only an outside chance of glory and silverware - despite Leicester.
