One of the goals he scored in the above video was exceptional and if he can do things like that on a regular basis we have acquired a player who could fetch tens of millions in the future. The 21-year-old is ready to sign a four-year contract after jetting into Glasgow for talks earlier this week. A cross-border transfer, it is likely to cost Rangers around £250,000 in training compensation. Joe Dodoo is set to confirm a permanent deal to join Rangers after snubbing a new Leicester contract Out of contract, Dodoo is prepared to snub the offer of a new deal with the Premier League champions to secure a crack at first-team football. Also able to play wide, Dodoo sprang to prominence with a hat-trick on his Leicester debut against Bury in the League Cup, but managed just one appearance from the bench during last season’s astonishing title triumph. Rangers, meanwhile, have opened negotiations with defender Rob Kiernan over a new, extended contract. The Ibrox club secured manager Mark Warburton on improved terms until 2019 earlier this week and have invested heavily in big-money contracts for new signings Joey Barton, Niko Krancjar and Jordan Rossiter. However, the impact of a substantial increase to the dressing room wage bill is now becoming clear in renegotiations with key players. Discussions with Martyn Waghorn and James Tavernier over extensions have reached an impasse. And former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Kiernan, who played 33 games in central defence for Rangers last season, has yet to commit to a new contract after discussions were opened. The first Rangers signing for Warburton last summer, Kiernan signed a two-year deal and is now entering the final 12 months of his agreement. Rangers sources have told Sportsmail that talks with the 25-year-old are ‘ongoing’ and the club remain confident of committing him to improved terms. Any failure to do so would leave Kiernan eligible to talk with other clubs from January concerning a pre-contract agreement. I think daft shouts at the game are excusable, people get kind of taken by the madness/fun of it.
