[FT] Motherwell 0 - 2 Rangers (Tavernier 48; Waghorn 90)

We're dominating -- as one would expect -- but one gets the feeling Motherwell can cut us open with a stupid long-ball. It's encouraging offensively, but it's the same old problems defensively.

Hope not I like the way we play

You like the way we defend? How we defend is just as important as how we attack. It's possible to play good, entertaining football whilst maintaining a solid defensive base. We defend like a primary school football team. Every time the opposition get into our half I just hope for the best.

Seems we've learned nothing from last season. Our shambolic defense being cut wide open time after time. Will the 37 year old Hill be tbe answer?

What's age got to do with anything , it didn't stop sir David weir did it .

I accept the way we attack will leave us open to counter attacks , how we defend come the start of the season will depend on the players that start , as I said earlier our team come August will IMHO be markedly different to today , you want to get your knickers in a twist over this first 45 minutes of what is our second preseason game , that's up to you , me I will relax and wait for the season to start

We just had a year of playing with an inept defence; with the signings made I don't see how that's liable to change much any time soon.

Got them under siege now and despite a few troublesome break aways I feel such break aways may look more impressive than they are simply because it's popping out of what's basically a Rangers siege.

This is a good display from what is far from our first 11.

I fear there will be games this season where our defence will be torn open like a pretty boys arse in d block!? Going forward great, as everyone mentiond, good greif our defence is poor though, but we are leaving two at the back with Taverneir apparently taking up his new role as a right winger?? What can we expect.
