Today's Transfer Rumours

Scott Brown - Rangers class !!

Scott MacDonald - NOT Rangers class

Lee McCulloch - NOT Rangers class

Alan Gow - NOT Rangers class

Not sure if id even say Scott Brown was good enough, havent seen enough of him but i preferred him to Thomson earlier in the season.

McCulloch would be a good signing for us as he is better than Adam for a start.

BUt what is Rangers Class at the moment?? Do we compare them to past players or do we get very decent players who will make us better.

If you go by what Rangers class really is then non of the above qualify IMO.

Well seeing as everyone is easily pleased by Sebo's running about, McDonald put it a pretty good performance last night for a very poor Motherwell team. He's also pushing towards the top of the scoring charts.

He's got a lot of strength for a wee guy, hassled defenders, makes chances and was unlucky not to score last night.

Think he would be a useful addition to the squad.

Problem is, can we afford or attract players who are definitely Rangers class any more?

To be honest, going on comments from mates I know who support other clubs, I don't think any of those 4 are necessarily "better" than each other as they all seem to blow hot and cold from week to week. But at least 3 of them are very young, that's a massive step in the right direction.

We badly need a couple of very experienced players to come in and improve the midfield and forwards in the same way that Weir has done at the back.
