Joey Barton's Rangers future is in doubt after the midfielder was told to stay away from the club's training complex following a bust up with Andy Halliday this week.*

STV understands*the incident took place on Tuesday, which resulted in the midfielder -*who was Rangers' most high profile summer recruit - being banished from the training ground until further notice.*

It is understood this is not the first time the 33-year-old has caused unrest within the dressing room.

The experienced midfielder will not feature in Saturday's Premiership clash with Ross County.

Rangers are making no official comment on the matter.

I have said for weeks all their body language suggested unrest in the camp!. Non verbal comms. I can't help watching people.

I hope we can move on now, if there is bad apples, it dosnt matter who they are, they need removed.

 

I think it is as clear as day there is not the same cohesion in the team this season,I did comment earlier that I thought that was down to losing our dynamic from midfield and Barton & Kranjcar were responsible for that,however I also thought it might be down to them settling into our style?,I suppose it is best to reserve judgement until we know exactly what happened,if we ever do?

We can only hope? They have both brought unrest and division we don't need. I actually feel Kranjar has been worse than Barton with performance. Let's get Holt back to fitness with Halliday, Rossiter, Forrester, MOH and McKay all battling for MF places!
