No matter who goes for a fee, we should demand at least a 10% sell-on clause.

 

As for Toral, the remaining length of his Arsenal contract is not known just now. If he indeed signs and likes what he sees (first team football included), who knows whether he makes this/us his opportunity for another go at the EPL? There is little chance to progress to the Arsenal top team unless you are exceptional. But, as he has seen with various others (Dembele is the latest), if you make you mark elsewhere, the "lesser lights" of the EPL may take note and you may eventually still end up with a bumper pay cheque and a big club.

Fair comment but I think some loan signings can be made with a view to a permanent deal which is useful. Try before you buy if you like...

It looks like Oduwa is having a hard time making it. He was lent to Colchester and only made 2 sub appearances and his loan spell at Peterborough has also now ended.
