NO DEAL Kenny Miller

Recommended Posts

Miller is a useful player, but we need a goal scorer....barring the odd good spell, KM just ain't a regular enough scorer.

I would also imagine that he is on a rather decent wage, which could be freed up to bring in someone younger & more "efficient".

The truth ain't shite stirring however unpalatable it may be.

Oh, of course not, but how do we know whether it is true? Who says whether it wasn't a dual agreement that we shelve and discussion for now? Just saying. As it is, it just pores oil into the fire.

In any case, the board is due some good news, else the allround doom and gloom feeling goes on and on and on.

Sounds more like an agent attempting to put pressure on the board by hinting at Miller's options. He has done well this season, but he has never been a prolific goal scorer, and if he goes at the end of the season, I will wish him well for the future (except when he plays against Rangers, of course!)

So, two guys, pushing 40 are to have contract renewals considered nearer the end of the season.

Is this not prudent, given their age? Is this not something that many clubs would do? Particularly clubs in straitened financial circumstances?

Or is this rasellik's house journal putting the mix in? Perish that thought!!

Perish that rhag!!

Whether we are going to keep Miller or not, it seems sensible not to rush into it. Why not reassess later on when we have a better idea of what's happening next season and what budgets are available. It's unlikely he's going to rush off and sign for anyone else.

Sorry but id extended both of them with immiedate effect as both have shown their qualites this season. I think Hill would be better with Wilson or an in form Senderos next to him but he has played the majority of games with Kiernan.

Millers expierence is invaluable. He is a bit like Lovenkrands was in the at least he will show up in most of the big games. A player coach role may even be the better option but to keep a real professional such as him on the books is a clever move.

There are worse players in the squad to replace than these two. Neither seems to be struggling with age.

Okay we are going to be a massive amount of points behind the yahoos but that is not a big thing as we were never going to compete for the title this season or probabvly next two or three. We need to focus on competing for second now we are in that position.

Miller and Hill have been a reason we are at this stage with their performances and deserve another one year deal to use their experience to assist developing youngsters, otherwise who can help on the field in this area?
