Would be ideal for us in many respects but he's still an important player for West Brom--he's the captain, isn't he?--and I'd expect them to extend his contract. Been a great signing for them: my boss is a Baggies fan and absolutely loves him. We need to be looking at players with a sell-on value, not has beens looking for a cushy retirement - we've been stung with this too often in the past. We don't need to buy old players to get experience - Look @ Danny Wilson. 25 yr old, played 184 pro matches with RFC, Liverpool, Blackpool, Bristol & Hearts. Also with Champ league experience & won 1 Prem title, 1 Scot Cup, 1 League cup, 1 challenge cup & 2 Champ titles.
