Rangers - Fake News Generator

Recommended Posts

Of course, this "arrangement" with an unofficial mouthpiece gives fhilthfootballclub (and Lawwell) 'plausible deniability' for anything it would like to see

in the public domain.

Exactly. It is Celtic's official unofficial Fake News outlet.

Hilariously on Twatter I seen someone comment that Alan Thompson was paid to miss that penalty :D

Not Rangers news but Celtic based Fake News:

From the DR today (viewed via an ad-blocker)

Celtic fan spared jail after confronting former EDL leader Tommy Robinson before Sunderland clash

How about that for spin!? :D

Kasey Mackinnon was badly beaten and left semi-conscious on the ground after trying to take on the far-right thug.

Wait what?

I've very little time for the likes of Tommy Robinson but this clown acting as part of a group who threw an incendiary device into an enclosed building with women and children inside, smashed the windows, caused affray and breached the peace walks away with a 12 month conditional discharge (differed sentence) £105 costs and £100 compensation order. So effectively a £200 fine for what they did is absolutely ludicrous!

Yes but he was just "confronting" the (ex) EDL thug who he happened to bump into miles away in a specific shop after being caught up in a group who plied him with drink. He just happened to be at the front by accident when they smashed up the shop and threw pyrotechnics into what could have been innocent bystanders. If anything he deserves a medal. Well according to the Daily Record anyway.

It is amazing how they don't even try to hide their agenda now.

Latest on the Fake News front, regular contributors the Daily Record keep up their sinister xenophobic theme by claiming that Cauxinha feels isolated due to his nationality when in fact he was just laying into the squad in general. Following the bizarre racially stereotyping article on Morelos, have the Daily Record slipped further into the realms of stirring racial and sectarian unrest?

Pedro Caixinha’s furious rant at Rangers home-based stars for failing to make him feel welcome

The Portuguese manager was furious with Graham Dorrans for what he believed to be a lack of respect.

Pedro Caixinha declared war on his own players as a furious Old Firm post-mortem descended into a Murray Park meltdown.

Record Sport can reveal the rattled Rangers boss called what became an explosive crisis meeting with his first-team squad on Monday - 48 hours after blowing his lid on the sidelines as Celtic cruised to a 2-0 win at Ibrox in the first derby of the season.

And Caixinha stunned his dressing room by launching a stinging attack on the home-based players who he blasted for failing to make him, his staff and his raft of foreign signings feel welcome at the club.

A furious Caixinha also rounded on fans’ favourite Graham Dorrans for handing the captain’s armband to sub Kenny Miller when the veteran striker replaced Carlos Pena during the second half of Saturday’s defeat.

Dorrans handed the armband over to Miller ...

... when Pena came off but the move was not sanctioned by Caixinha

It’s understood Caixinha angrily accused Dorrans of showing him a lack of respect by deciding to give up the captaincy without being instructed to do so by the boss.

Caixinha’s rant left many of his unsuspecting players gobsmacked and adds to what had already become an uneasy atmosphere between the manager and his team.

Rangers face a potentially arduous away trip to Hamilton on Friday night as Caixinha shows signs of cracking under the strain with his expensively-assembled side now sitting fifth in the top-flight table.

Some of his own players attempted to calm him down inside the tunnel at Ibrox on Saturday, moments after he had confronted Celtic captain Scott Brown in the technical area - accusing him of planting an elbow on Alfredo Morelos.

Disciplinarian Caixinha has taken a hard-line stance with his players since arriving at the club in March.

Record Sport revealed how a number of players - including Michael O’Halloran, Rob Kiernan and Harry Forrester - had been ordered to clock in for gruelling 6am training sessions and frozen out of the first-team group.

All three were then shipped out of the club during the summer as part of a huge overhaul with O’Halloran making a blistering return to form on loan to his former club St Johnstone.

Hmmm, I'd suggest Celtic themselves embarked on a project to increase their say politically and in the media in the mid 90s and many aspects of that are now bearing fruit now.

I doubt they're closely involved with some of the more unhinged elements of the anti-Rangers bloggers but neither do they hinder them. Meanwhile these Celtic supporting bloggers maintain good relationships with more mainstream media contacts which ensures even the less credible stories and rumours are widely discussed.

It's actually very clever and I'm envious of the hard work and effort that's went into it. I've yet to see Rangers counter it all that well.

Probably wouldn't be allowed to counter it, no encouragement given as we have no rangers friendly media.

An interesting headline which might cause you to buy The Herald standing in a paper shop seeing the banner head [and if you were a daftie unaware of that rags previous ] ----

" Rangers unhappy at Carlos Pena trial by TV case after Mexican is cleared after by SFA Compliance Officer."

Here's the article ---

" RANGERS midfielder Carlos Pena will face no punishment for his clash with Greg Docherty during the win over Hamilton on Friday night.

But the Light Blues are furious that the incident was highlighted by BT Sport and BBC Scotland before Scottish FA Compliance Officer Tony McGlennan ruled that no further action would be taken.

Pena was booked by referee Andrew Dallas for a challenge on Dougie Imrie during the first half of the 4-1 win for Pedro Caixinha’s side.

And he avoided another caution in the second period after diverting the ball into the net with his hand as Rangers recorded a crucial Premiership victory.

But it was the coming together with midfielder Docherty that could have cost the 27-year-old dear if it was ruled that he had a case to answer after appearing to catch the Hamilton midfielder in the face.

McGlennan had until 3pm on Tuesday afternoon to raise a Notice of Complaint against Pena over the flashpoint at the SuperSeal Stadium.

But the Mexican won’t face a disciplinary charge and a possible suspension that could have left him on the sidelines when Rangers return to action after the international break.

Rangers are thought to be unhappy that the Pena event was pored over on television, whilst other recent incidents involving high-profile players haven’t been.

But the midfielder, who has scored two goals in seven appearances this term, won’t face any further action after his trial by TV case was dismissed on Tuesday evening.

Can anyone see anything in that article which supports the headline ?
