I know but he should think about what he is saying before spouting off. Any minor comment that can be flung back at us will be.

His record is pretty good to be fair. But to be fairer still, he achieved most of it with players he inherited from Advocaat.

Oh, I agree with that Bill. But those same players weren't performing for Advocaat.

 

If we are to discount some of his positive achievements due to inheriting players then should we also not be discounting some of the negative "achievements" due to significant financial down-sizing ?

For me, winning isn't everything. I watched some really poor stuff from Waletr's and McLeish's teams and I don't think I could motivate myself to watch that again. I just hope we can build a brand of football that's effective and good to watch. One without the other doesn't interest me now.
