Since when did that ever matter to footballers? It was rather public knowledge that he wanted to return to Scotland and preferrably his team of choice. I would assume quite a few Championhsip sides would have been interested. It appears that Dorrans, for example, had an interest in bringing his family to Scotland. I've yet to see any similar reports about McArthur.
