Ongoing new manager discussion and speculation

Recommended Posts

I am going to stay the eternal optimist and believe the board are going to pluck a manager that's never been mentioned , the thought of what's being discussed might just be the end of me .

We can’t string three wins together and people are uptight about the style of football. It’s a bit like fretting over the brand of caviar when we can’t put bread on the table. I’ll take winning first and worry about playing attacking football later. If that means Eck or anyone else then so be it.

I don't think it is too much to ask that we see a Rangers side winning and playing good football, given the standard of most of the opposition.

Where is the Eck talk coming from? If it genuinely has legs, how in the name of tits does the board think it's the way forward?

I have fully supported this board but if they give McLeish the job, doubts will start creeping in.

I'd be very surprised if we went for McInnes after the time elapsed since Pedro left. We'd have tried to get him before now if he was the preferred choice.

My own view is we'll need a big name to please the support hence why I think Frank de Boer would be the best choice.

Since he left Ajax last year he made two bad choices in Inter Milan & Crystal Palace. Rangers would be ideal for him to get back on track.
