I'd have thought that either Morelos or Cummings could drop back into the Windass position without too much difficulty.

They could, but they're not the same type of player; they would naturally drift up top, leaving us exposed in the middle.

Also, Cummings doesn't do the running the other two do. Morelos can run, but doesn't have the control or vision.

Docherty -- and to lesser extent Murphy -- are the only ones I can see as being direct replacements for Windass; and both were on the pitch or had already been subbed (?).

This is just my opinion, of course... :D

Is murtys record better than pedros? After 20 games in charge he was a win behind pedro.

We havent won evey game since then but he may well be ahead now.

One things for sure we look in better shape now.

I was getting G'd up to type until I read your last sentence. WE look far more like a football team now and not like a bunch of idiots not having a clue what to do.

I'd have hooked Windass at half time

replying to myself here ....but does anyone remember Craig Moor having a nightmare and Dick pulling him off after half an hour?....that's decisiveness in a manager.

Mind you Murty's still inexperienced at this level but if our level of performance becomes consistent, then he must be in with a shout at the end of the season to continue as manager

I just new it wasnt recently. But we have probably won 3 out of 4 since then.

We also have to factor in the better of results under murty
