New manager rumours

Recommended Posts

The board have made 3 mistakes but have hardly done the same thing.  Warburton was a highly thought of Chamionship manager, Caixhina was a foreign wildcard and Murty is a promoted youth coach.

I think Brentford had MW sussed hence they were prepared to let him go

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Derek Adams as a possible candidate. Worked miracles at Ross County, Plymouth promoted last season, likely playoff this season to get into English Championship.

Forget what those puppets on Follow Follow say - any Rangers fan who thinks that Douglas Park & the board are capable of finding a manager in 2 months, when they have left Murty floundering there for almost a year already, is kidding themselves on. Would’ve been announced by now!

Managing Rangers is a million miles removed from managing Ross County & Plymouth

It is a very difficult situation for the board, IMO.

To get a good manager you need to pay good money, a good manager will want to have transfer money to get good players and good players want good money, or the good managers won't touch the job, it all comes down to cash! how much cash do we have?
