Very interesting to note that all of training kit has no manufacturer branding on it at all. It looks quite retro!

42 man squad including backroom staff. Thats an awfully high wage bill!

It will be thinned out no doubt in the coming weeks.  There also were a fair number of the development team there - and it seems some have impressed Gerrard, so we may see some of them get game time this season...

Rangers could lose Josh Windass with Cardiff City poised to make a £3million offer which will trigger a release clause in the attacker’s contract. Windass could still opt to remain at Ibrox and play under new boss Steven Gerrard, though the lure of playing in the English Premier League may prove to be too strong. (Daily Express)

Might be a good deal for Rangers

I've seen this release clause stated by a few sources now (including a tweet from his Dad), however my understanding is that none of the players have a release clause now as they were all bought out when the players' new contracts were signed.  This was the same with Tav when he signed his new contract.

I wonder if my information is correct or if Windass has somehow managed to retain this clause.  If he has, I'm surprised we offered him a new deal because at that time his value was higher.  At the very least I'd have expected it to increase.

You'd hope good contract management (in the clubs interests) would have been an important part of the DoF's remit.

Businesswise, the club desperately need it because in the absence of regular European group stage football, bringing in significant transfer fees will be important.
