We seem to be able to field a team of players who all work to the same plan. It looks controlled and coordinated and its been a very long time since that was the case. The distance we've come in a few weeks is astonishing.

 

A wee word for Andy Halliday. A while ago it looked like his only future was the exit door but he's found a way to fight for a place in a far better side and get the odd game. He's definitely not our most talented player and he'll never be first choice but, despite all the criticism, he is finally showing that most wonderful thing in a Rangers player ... character.

If we get into the group stages , we will desperately need another 3 or 4 players , we cannot expect the same guys to play at this level week in week out , especially as we will be having 2 games most weeks .

Has anyone seen Walter Smith around Auchenhowie recently ?

Gerrard has previously said that the amount of transfer activity was dependent on how far we went in Europe. If we make the groups I think we can be confident there will be more activity. Could be looking at a £10 million windfall no one expected.

I think the board need to make a punt prior to getting to the group stage as our 2nd leg of the play-off is 24 hrs before the window shuts. Based on what they’ve seen so far, they need to gamble on the fact we will make the group stage.

We appear to be a lot more organised than in recent times. Given that fact I would expect a list of targets already in place and only the negotiating left to be done.
