Lafferty has 78 goals in 343 games in his club career to date, a strike rate of 0.22 goals per game. Mark Hately played 500 club goals and scored 182 goals for a strike rate of .036 goals per game. He made a reasonable contribution overall and scored some goals that were critical to our successes during that period. But whatever his previous record, these attacks and this criticism AFTER we sign him is simply ridiculous. What's your objective? Do you think criticism before he even kicks a ball in anger will somehow improve his performances? Do you think Gerrard will suddenly decide to sell him again in response to your wisdom?
