Tavs "replacement" or back-up was Flanagan. We still signed Polster. Should Tav go, we'd still have Flanagan as the main or stand-in left-back, while it would be down to Polster on the right. Thing is, unless he gets a very smart offer, I can't see him leave before he/we bag a title. It is lovley agent talk, but only 4lads and Co. can verify that. Dunno whether Middleton would have been better served with a 6 months loan with an option to extend this to a full season. Why knows who inhabits our hospital come x-mas. We want to release such a key player at such a key time? No thanks.
