Borna Barisic set to leave Rangers in the summer according to his agent
Steven Gerrard could have to say goodbye to one of his key players before next season.

 

Borna Barišić's agent says he expects the left-back to leave Ibrox in the summer.
The 27-year-old signed a new contract in January that expires in 2024, but his agent says his player in demand.
Ives Cakarun says the Croatian was the subject of interest from Napoli in the last transfer window, and he foresees more options this summer.

 

"Borna's priority right now is Rangers, who have made significant progress this season under the management of Steven Gerrard.
"There was interest in him during the winter transfer window - the strongest came from Napoli, but Rangers turned down all offers because they wanted to keep one of their best players.

"They value Borna a lot and wanted to win something with him because Rangers haven't won a trophy for a long time.
"But after the season is over and given the demand for Borna, Rangers are sure to start considering new offers. It will be a completely new position for Borna.
"His performances this season have opened up a whole, new horizon for him."

He will be playing in the EUROS for Croatia, if he has a good tournament his price would increase!

Barasic and Morelos are our two best players. If both leave in the summer whoever is Rangers manager next season will have a helluva job replacing them.

If we can get over £25m for Morelos and Barasic, we could bring in 5 or 6 very good players and become a league winning team.  

 

Morelos is unique and on his day, unplayable but he's not a top quality finisher by any means.  Barisic, again, is terrific on his day but not irreplaceable. 

 

We've been far too reliant on two or three players these past two seasons and when they're off form, we struggle to break teams down.  We need a better team and we need a spine with a winning mentality.  Goldson, Tav, Jack, Davis and Kamara don't provide that - replace them with winners.

I think Jack clearly does. The others, not so much.
