compo 6,129 Posted March 1, 2022 Share Posted March 1, 2022 (edited) The players need to buck up , we have a goalie who's lost the plot , defenders that cant defend, a bunch of half backs that passthe ball to each other that's when they aren't passing it back to the defenders that cant defend and strikers who think goals are rationed and a manager that cant manage . Alas, Lundstram has a better attacking mind. All in all, it looks a hard-work selection, not one to cut them open. You can only hope that a) Arfield and Aribo click from the off, and b) we change things quickly if it doesn`t. "Might" be that we try a 3 at the back with Tav going in RM, with Lundstram stepping back when Bassey roves the left wing. McGregor and Goldson seemingly can`t do anything wrong, which is probably as mindboggling to us as it is to some of those on the bench. I agree but can also see why he's picked that line-up: i.e. he has gone to his most experienced players who should be more than capable of getting us a result. Personally I'd have brought in Roofe or Lowry for Aribo as well but, other than, we don't have too many genuine options.
