Frankie 8,151 Posted April 7, 2022 Author Share Posted April 7, 2022 A good first 20mins but then we fell farther and farther back, kept losing the ball and we're probably lucky not to be 2-0 down, even if the VAR decision was correct. Unfortunately, our attacking play in terms of decision-making has been poor again whilst our set-pieces have been embarrassing. Not sure if Braga changed their shape but we certainly lost ours for 20mins of that half. At least we're still in the game and Sakala could easily have had at least one goal. He was trying to block the ball, Goldson was even more static, but has a bang average game anyway. Don`t think Tav managed to hit any crosses or corners near any of our players, we play these sad little triangles and short-pass trash near our area again. Jack is working at 75 % of his best for a few weeks now, should be replaced by Ramsey, so we have someone able to hit a free-kick or corner. From the 30th min onwards, Braga had the better of the game, without really threatening ... it looks more like us handing chances to them with shocking clearances and passes. I for one won`t be sad to see new defenders arrive in the summer.
