The players were clueless but more worrying was the manager seemed totally out of his depth ,it just wont do good managers can change players and tactics and turn games around

Let's all calm down. GVB was rightly praised for they way he adapted his tactics on the way to a major European final last season. Tonight he got it wrong but at the same time probably didn't legislate for every outfield player turning in a dire performance.

I would say that even the Europa League is above our level. Last season we punched well above our weight IMO.

I understand that many find it difficult in the immediate aftermath of a painful defeat.

Surely there is a level of cowardly nonsense below which one can not sink.

Holy Hell...just finished watchin that.

Well, a few things.

-We now have a barometric low for the season--work upward

-A lot of new players in that lineup very new to Gio, and his scheme,.

-Yes Veronica, Sands is not a CB.

-An average team that is tight, passes well, in your face, and is first to the ball will beat a much more talented squad, which is not, 99/100 times.

-We need Fredo back, Fredo needs game time against Killie.

-We may not be able to be tight at this stage...but we need to see a**holes and elbows on the field...none...NONE were seen tonight.

-We can recover and whip these clowns.

I can't comment because I don't have Premier Sport or a VPN but I am gutted at what I am reading.  What on earth was Gio thinking about by not changing the tactics and making changes earlier?

I suspect he was thinking that losing by one goal could be tolerated.

Issue is now about how the team react.

Quite a few new lads who will be playing their first competitive game at Ibrox on Saturday.

Will be a test for them, especially if an early goal for us isn't forthcoming.

McInnes, will set up to try and restrict space in the final third.

We'll at least start at a high tempo and look for an early goal.

We need some kind of performance to take some confidence from prior to the second leg.

He should have saved their first goal tbh but he did ok with what came his way after that.

I think all you can say is he "could" have saved it
