Yes and according to the Board it’s all our fault for being spoiled brats who didn’t want us to play them

in the ange homecoming tour.

Back in the day, I got way to involved in all things Rangers. From writing in a fanzine, going home and away (domestically and Europe) and this lead to me starting to take an interest on off-field matters.

The day I (and others) were spat on, verbally abused and chased from the main entrance for daring to protest against Sir Duped, was the 2nd worst day in my Rangers supporting life. The worst was a day later when Sir Duped pubically praised those who chased the protesters.

Thankfully, I then had my kids and my priorities changed. I still cared passionately about Rangers, but I let all the other stuff slide.

However, over last year or so, I've been keeping an eye on the current board, and have to say I'm as worried now as I was when Sir Duped was in charge.

I was correct all those years ago, I just hope I'm wrong this time.

In all honesty, I don't have desire to challenge them (other than on this forum) and fear nobody will.

I remember that clearly. It was a disgrace but it did serve to expose the catastrophic inability of many Rangers fans to think for themselves. Every single one of those who abused the protestors that day was shown to be utterly wrong.

‘They put their money in’ is what people will say. That they did. I will forever be thankful that they did. However since then it’s clear the usual

falling out and egos have got in the way and it’s been to the detriment of our club.

Does that mean they are above criticism? Looks like it.

Do you or I have the means to buy them out? Probably not. So that usually results in a ‘get back in your box’.

Yip, 100% agree and believe they have been given grace from criticism for putting their money in.

However, if we are to believe the boards mantra of Rangers being best in class, are Park (Snr and Jnr) and Robertson really best in class?

It did, and I like to think those who protested against the spivs may have taken some inspiration from those who protested against Murray.

Maybe they were there (on either side), one never knows.
