[FT] St Johnstone 2 - 1 Rangers (Tavernier 74)

Recommended Posts

All the possession but far too laboured and little to no attacking movement with Kent and Colak both offering very little.

We play like we have sandbags on out feet.

We really need some spark from someone but far too many hide instead.

Whistles for HT time at 44.59 ...

There was a little argument about dominating teams and creating chances will win you games. Today's just another example that you can dominate and create tons of chances, but at the end of the day, goals count.

Fun fact:

Shots 3-17

On target 1-3

Goals 1-0

Corner 0-12

TBH, our captain's atrocious defending cost us that goal. Rookie King just blasted the ball out of the park, our veteran gave it straight back to the opposition with a tame pass back into play.

On another side-note, our left-attacking slot isn't showing up ... again.

This is the most one sided game I think I have ever seen.

I hope that doesn't mean what it often does.

I was going to blame Lundstram for giving the ball away.

It is now your fault.

Kent just going through the motions, has been for a while now, spins in circles with no end product

That's fair enough, but this is no sanatorium. Our maxim is about winning and if people do not produce, others need to introduced. I for one would throw in Morelos straight away.
