At 28, he's too old.

And other than score goals, he doesn’t do much. He's similar to Colak in that way, which is fine but if you're only contributing goals, you need to be exceptional at that and he's not; he's alright, but not exceptional.

At 28 he is in his prime.

You dont fill a team with early to mid 20's players, that makes no sense.  Every team needs a mix of experience and youth.

We have an aging squad. We don't need any more auld yins.

Especially when we're forking out significant cash on the deal.

Late one lads but it's a link that will jog the memory, do you remember Sima for Slavia Praha a few years back? We're close to a loan deal for him apparently.

I'll include the link but it's behind a paywall, so I'm just putting it in for headlines sake. If anyone could do some digging that be great.

Glenn Kamara will be delighted...

Another striker with poor numbers. 4 goals from 30 last season in the French second tier. Hardly inspiring is it?

If Michael Beale and the management team paid any attention to fan forums, we'd never sign anyone.

Too old, too expensive, stats are poor, I don't like the selling club, loans are a waste of time etc.

His signings so far have worked out well and he'll know far more about prospective signings and where he wants to play them than any of us do, so why can't we be a bit more positive.

Have you watched him extensively, BSRT?

All we can do is trust Beale.

Sima interests me more. He was an exciting talent at Slavia Prague - enough to warrant Brighton making a move for him. He's still only 22. He's quite versatile, too, being able to play along the front line.

6 goals in 37 games looks poor, but he hits his xG and was his clubs top scorer as they were relegated.

He carries the ball well, dribbles well, presses well, and is decent in the air.

Guess who he's similar to? Sam Lammers.

Again, it fits with MB playing a front two in a 4-3-1-2.

If this is a loan to buy, I'd be happy.
