At this early stage, I think we've spent a lot of money on someone who is a backup striker. Cantwell should be our number 10 and shouldn't be pushed back to accommodate for Lammers. 

I edging towards this way of thinking tbh. The money we spend on Lammars might have been better spent on a wide player or dare I say it Shankland.

The Lammers signing never made much sense to me, and it was just more worrying when Beale talked about how he’s known about him for years. Just seems like our transfer policy is driven by players he already knows about, rather than proper scouting.

Especially since we had Cantwell who was excellent and more than capable of playing as a 10. We also had Hagi on the way back. And Lowry...

I've just watched a 6min highlight package and it made us look decent. Seemed to make a few decent chances and their keeper made a few very good saves.Both pens looked very soft.

I fear that Lammers is a dud.

Lammers might come good but early signs aren't great.  Same goes for Sima and Dowell.

 

As I said the other night, I'm seeing things I like about Dessers - he gets into good areas and if things start clicking with him and those around him, I reckon he'll score a decent amount of goals.

Can someone who is smarter than me answer this particular question? It appeared to me that Matondo was getting the better of their right back and it resulted in the Morton player getting booked. Here's me thinking...Great. Let's attack him and put him under more pressure. What did we do? We seemed to attack the other flank. Confused.com

Dessers could / should have had a hatrick today. Scored one, had one disallowed and a good assist for Danilo goal. Think the lad will come good.

 

Also can't see why people are writing Lammers off so soon. Looked good in pre-season and scored last week.
