Regardless, you can make a case for the fine margins of the game going against us at crucial moments vs Celtic... had they gone the other way, we would be having a very different set of discussions on here.   That isn't a reason to keep him on its own, but if you're a Board member and you've backed the manager to overhaul the squad over the summer...although you'd be seeing some worrying trends and patchy early season form, I would be surprised if their view would be formed on just 4 league games.   The league is far from gone and although there is a sea-change of opinion from the stands, its not irrecoverable.  

 

If we don't get 3 point tomorrow though, get him chased!

In fairness it was putrid questioning from journos and fan media alike, even if they weren't straight questions like 'is your job in peril' there were loaded ones from fan media asking him if he knows what his best team is, in so many words.

Tbh I'd like to know what he think his best team is too. I thought they went remarkably easy on him.

Did anyone ask him why so few of his Summer signings (specifically Danilo) started against PSV on Celtc?  Or why we sat off Celtc in the first half?  Or why he doesn't change things when they aren't working?

It's the biggest failing of his so far. He has spent so much money and brought in 9 new players. However, he doesn't seem to trust them at all, if that persists then it's damning.

I'm open to correction but I make it that's a full pre-season suite warm ups and 9 competitive games so far this season and that's more than enough time for professional players to have settled in and be delivering on the pitch ... and plenty time for a manager with a clear vision to get his squad dancing to his tune. I've waited with hope for some sign of it every game and it's just not there, not even a hint of it.
