Beale is walking dead. No Rangers manager comes back from being booed off the park at Ibrox twice in 4 days.

The players weren't booed off against Betis. Or are you predicting them being booed off on Wednesday no matter the score?

Ah well, if you're going to be pedantic about it and include Europe then I have to yield.

That raises an interesting point. If you don't approve of booing the players, where do you stand on booing the manager?

I wouldn't boo a manager either.  I find the atmosphere a bit toxic at Ibrox at the moment. The fans are nervous and angry and a mass groan at every mistake doesn't help anything.  I am not blaming anyone just stating the obvious.  I didn't want Beale and think this was an inevitable outcome of his appointment.  I feel for him on a human level but he just doesn't have the experience to manage this club.  What an utter mess.

Yep, and we all know there's only one way out of it.

Are we seeing some kind of player power in the Ibrox ranks who knows maybe a first class display on Wednesday evening will bring a change of fortune for him.

I wonder if any of the senior players ( Tavernier, Goldson etc) quizzed Beale on the tactics and substitutions yesterday?

And also if they’ve done so in previous games too?

And if so is CEO Bisgrove aware of this?

I feel at the moment that any manager that comes in isn't going to get time. There is too much angst in the crowd, ready to turn on anyone in an instant. So I'm not sure if what you are hinting at is actually a way out.

I'm not being pedantic, you said the players were booed off twice in 4 days

This 100% - we have become the most negative support in Europe.

That depends what the manager does surely. Beale has had over 10 months to make an impression - it's just that it's not the impression required. Should we support failure?
