Danny 0 Posted July 9, 2006 Share Posted July 9, 2006 It's hard to say any defender can light up a world cup. Good defending is admirable but not what people look for when it comes to the highlights. He's been the best 'player' for sure, but he's not really lit the tournament up because it's not his job to do that sort of thing. Maybe Rooney can do the same in 2010, he will only be 24!
