    Cyriel Dessers

I don't know if Barry and his team have been working on his too many touches but he only took one touch and scored, lets hope next season he is a different animal, curiosity could the stat man come up with a list of how many goals Dessers has scored from different plays / angles etc to see how many touches he has before he scores or fluffs it🧐 I think I may have solved Dessers enigma code 😂

  6. Seen a tweet outlining how Farioli deploys this playing out from the back to beat the press etc. Great. 90% of our games will be up against a low block and no press though.
  7. Do as badly as Chelsea did the year before!!!
  8. He's a desciple of De Zerbi...
  9. For what it’s worth! Rangers hold discussions with ex-Ajax boss Francesco Farioli By Stephen McGowanSports writer at large @mcgowan_stephen Rangers have held discussions with former Ajax coach Francesco Farioli over the Ibrox manager’s post. The 36-year-old Italian resigned from the Dutch giants after an end of season collapse saw a nine point lead whittled away, PSV Eindhoven claiming the Eredivisie crown. Despite dragging the former European champions up from a fifth place finish and securing Champions League football an emotional Farioli quit blaming a difference in ‘visions and timeframes’ from the Ajax board. Technical director Alex Kroes branded his departure ‘incredibly disappointing.’ Farioli spoke to Rangers before the appointment of Michael Beale in November 2022. And, as the club continue the search for a permanent successor to Philippe Clement, Herald Sport understands that the former Nice and Alanyaspor coach was sounded out again last week. Linked with the Roma and Atalanta jobs back in his native land the former goalkeeping coach, a graduate in philosophy and sports science, regards former Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi as his coach mentor and claims his next role will focus on ‘how things are done’. “There’s a lot of speculation, a lot of rumours,” he said. “But I do want to get back into coaching. Just like it was with Ajax, I don’t care about the brand or the size of the club. What matters to me is how things are done, and last summer Ajax was exactly what I was looking for. Read more: Dave King delivers verdict on Barry Ferguson's interim spell in charge of Rangers Dave King names 'obvious choice' to become next Rangers manager “It was the right step for my career, and now we’ll see what comes next. We’ll see if and when that opportunity arrives. “I’m a very demanding person. Before I join a club, I lay all my strengths and weaknesses on the table. ‘Demanding’ is probably the best word to describe me. I want to find a club that’s willing to fight alongside me.” Speculation over the Rangers role has centred so far on Davide Ancelotti, Steven Gerrard and Russell Martin. The club have also spoken to former Feyenoord boss Brian Priske. Former Ibrox chairman Dave King believes Gerrard is the ‘obvious choice’to return to the club he managed between 2018 and 2021, claiming he has ‘unfinished business’ in Glasgow. Despite King’s endorsement the Liverpool legend is reported to be on the cusp of bowing out of the race after making a ‘lifestyle choice’ to remain in the middle east for another year. Chief Executive Patrick Stewart is leading the search for a new manager, with sporting director Kevin Thelwell and Gretar Steinsson of the San Francisco 49ers whittling through the list of available candidates.
  10. Rumour has it SG has been linked with TNT sports broadcasting team. Also taking into consideration his daughter is pregnant and favours that at present be near the family. Farioli looks decent but Marco Rose is still my preferred.
  11. The champions league is the holy grail
  12. I'd take Farioli over RM or DA.
  13. Another name thrown into the hat...
  14. I understand that viewpoint / opinion. I believe he has been more involved than some (mostly his critics) realise, but once his shares transfer he'll become "irrelevant". Personally, I trust him more than The Parks, just couldn't take to them and hold them accountable for the mess we are in.
  15. Don't do alcohol, kids.
  16. All others ran ... but you are still here
  17. He seems to enjoy a reamin' swat, mind.

  19. And, pray, just who is that lucky bastard?
  20. Oh! it's after 5 pm! Nunc est bibendum. Meanwhile, a mantra: No News Is Good News No News Is Good News No News Is Good News No News Is Good News Repeat until scunnered.
  21. Joseph Biden, who mistook him for a journalist.
  22. Which begs the question: who nominated him?
  23. Methought the whole purpose of the Conference was to give teams outwith the big 5 a chance to compete. Why don't they just give Euro places to all 20 of the EPL then? Actually, I think Rangers could do well in this competition; how do we get into it?
  24. I understand that viewpoint / opinion. I believe he has been more involved than some (mostly his critics) realise, but once his shares transfer he'll become "irrelevant". Personally, I trust him more than The Parks, just couldn't take to them and hold them accountable for the mess we are in.
  25. People paying attention to what Jackson or any tabloid journalist has to say, on any subject, is far more concerning than anything he/they write.
