It would be great if the new regime could persuade the current board to stand down and allow replacements who are going to take the organisation forward. They are going nowhere under the current regime as they have lost the goodwill of a large percentage of the fans. There's still a chance for C1872 if they're able to adapt and get in new blood and a change in the constitution to allow this, but otherwise it's just going to continue to be an ego-boost for the ladies and their shadow director.

It doesn't matter what you or I do. But the club needs to ensure some key positions in the squad are filled ASAP if, at best we have a hope of qualifying for the CL. At worst we make it past the first qualifier, and enter the Europa with the 5 million parachute payment for dropping out of the CL qualifiers at next stage. That is a huge amount of money for us, it is there waiting. Its well known that the likes of Therwell and Purdy were at Old Trafford in January. This whole thing has been in the works for some time. The fact the only deal we have completed at the moment is one that Koppen sealed in January for Cameron is less than ideal.

That could take more than 1 summer transfer window though. Our loan system has worked pretty well recently. Im taking a fit Patterson over Aarons all day long. Celtic having Taylor but resigning Tierney wasnt a show stopper for them. -

Yeah, great football when they want to play rather than all the play actings. -
Hopefully Club1872 can build a good relationship with the club. It would be great if the new regime could help Club1872 to build and maintain their shareholding. It's the very least that the fans representatives deserve.

Very few, I'd imagine, but they do still have plenty of shares, and possibly some cash in the bank.

No more loans please. I want a team building strategy, not a series of guest players like we were setting up for testimonial matches only. Aarons may be on loan admittedly but that one may turn into a permanent one, thus obviating the need for another RB. -

With Everton about to sign Kyle Walker and giving Seamus Coleman another year could we do a deal with Everton to get a fit Nathan Patterson on loan for a year? We could then use Tavernier sparingly and it would bring in a player who knows the club and allow us to work on other positions. -
Auckland are semi-pro, but they won their CL so are entitled to be there. It's not free, either. Channel have done a deal with DAZN to show some games. DAZN requires a subscription - unless you're @Gonzo79...

Won’t be long until we’re playing European qualifying games and as yet signed no one some things are taking to long to change for my liking. -
Think this is a vanity project for the head man of FIFA to much a gulf in class between teams take the Benfica game against Auckland City the odds for Benfica are 1/500 looks to me like they’re has been a few back handlers given out to stage this tournament even this television lot paid a billion for screening rights then allow it to go free on terrestrial television football has been ruined by this crazy money

Cifuentes sure looks surplus to requirements, not least since we brought in Barron. Whatever rode us to pay as much as we did for him, I reckon he will be send away this summer on loan or for good. Maybe Martin wants a look first, though. -

A bit underwhelming. We should focus on finding the new Cifuentes. -

Peterborough United winger Kwame Poku, 23, is set to join Rangers. (TeamTalk) Rangers are closing in on a double swoop - with 25-year-old right-back Max Aarons arriving on loan from Bournemouth and joining Poku once his Peterborough contract expires. (Sun) New Rangers head coach Russell Martin is keen to keep Jack Butland at Ibrox if the 32-year-old goalkeeper can prove his worth in pre-season after losing his starting place at the end of last season. (Football Insider) Jose Cifuentes, 26, is expected to return to Rangers following a loan spell at Aris Thessaloniki. (Herald - subscription required) Everton and West Ham United could take a gamble on launching a bid for Rangers striker Hamza Igamane, 22. (Football Insider) -
