Possibly the Scott Nisbet of this era. Never enough talent but heart and determination gets him through to give what he can. Fair play to him after being shipped out to Azerbaijan (that could have broke him) but to come back and be part of a squad. SG will like that in him.

Unfortunately lost 4 nil in the final. We very rarely looked like scoring. Some good individual play but did not play well as a team with poor passing and movement and too many of the players trying to do too much on their own.. The goalkeeper also put us in trouble a few times by playing risky outballs.

In comparison to Gerrard he looks as is he would struggle to get his arse up off the couch.

A shame we didn't manage to get an equaliser as we dominated at the end but good fun nonetheless. And superb to see the gaffer in a Rangers jersey!

Enjoyed the first half - some good performances from both teams. Rae, Buffel and Lovenkrands for us; Carragher, Gerrard and Garcia for the Reds.... Papac looks exactly the same as he always did too...

Surprised nobody else had a go at a team...yet who was disagreeing with this! That would destroy most teams. Novo could tuck into the right and Steven pushing in one - same as Loven on the other side....Mendes controlling the play and Der Hammer Volleying everyone. What a team.

I don't like Watterreus playing with Rangers after he he said something like he didn't really want to play for us. I can't remember exactly what he said but I thought at the time "You c***"

Sorry but Club1872 is as dead as a dodo and it’s all their own fault , no amount of constructive criticism could change their minds , an absolute waste , yet again and again it’s our own fault .

To simplify this - king done what he had too to stop the Spivs really ruining the club As a result he knew the consequences but took them anyone at a cost of £1m for love of the club The sanction means nothing to Rangers or King as he will have no interest in doing anything in GB anytime soon - hence why he won’t appeal A complete non event by cretins like Sommers to try & hurt King King & the board have done things wrong but without them the results are potentially catastrophic - today only reinforces our luck he is here onwards for Rangers
