  1. Just get Beale to throw him some xG's and xA's in his next presser and Rousseau will be all in
  2. Kevin Thomson 🤣
  3. Who are they going to communicate with that represents the fans if not doing so publically ? Cant be C1872 as they and the club are at an impasse. So who could they sound out about it in private to gauge fan reaction ?
  4. I would argue France look the best team so far.
  5. Interestingly, having watched the documentary.... there is a brief segment where we see David Will of the SFA being interviewed about the awarding of WC2022 to Qatar and David Will saying soemthing wasnt right at FIFA.... and whilst he is talking you see a black guy walk into camera view over Will's left shoulder (the right of your TV screen) - this was the Bermuda General Secretary (David Sabir is his name, very good guy, honest and genuine) that I mentioned above. The documentary didnt really bring out a whole lot that wasnt already known.
  6. Hypocrisy is alive and well....
  7. Every single one of us, had it been a Rangers game and a Rangers player that did what Suarez did, would be lauding it, and rightly so. If it was a Rangers game and a Rangers player and he let it go in, we would be screaming for him to never wear our jersey again, and rightly so. Yes, definitely unsportsmanlike - but you do whatever you can to give your team the best chance of winning. He did the right (but wrong....) thing
  8. I havent read the annual report in all honesty mate but the suit would normally be considered a contingent liability - however, this lawsuit looks like it is fairly fresh - in which case it is more likely to be referenced in the notes to the financials rather than actually accounted for. Too unknown at such an early stage to include as a liability.
  9. Not that relevant to the potential outcome of this suit though. Going Concern considers the subsequent 12 months and, at the time of audit sign off, in the next 12 months the auditors know we have CL money plus Aribo and Bassey money coming in - so even if we were to lose that suit and 9.5 mill we would still likely have been considered a going concern. Bears little relevance to the outcome of that suit though
  10. Board would need to spend money - it can't be said we didnt spend money in the summer window, we just spent it either poorly or in areas we didnt need to.
  11. They made more money than we have from Europe this season.....
  12. Why try the misdirect ? That wasnt what you originally asked or asserted. You said you didn't want Knutsen because he has no British experience and may not be able to cope. I merely stated that Ange had no British experience and has won the league last year and looking increasingly likely to win it this year. Ange was a better appointment than Gio, that's for sure. I wouldnt ever want anyone that has managed for them to manage us. But that also is irrelevant to your original assertion.
  13. I CAN tell you that KT always felt Beale was the brains behind Gerrad (like many of us did, except KT got to see it first hand as he was coaching the B team at the time) - I actually thought KT would go south and be assistant to Beale at QPR. KT would, IMO, look at being second in command to Beale as "biding his time" until Beale eventually moved on - not sure how much patience KT would have for that though.
  14. The time for Beale would have been when Gerrard left. We were top of the table, had someone who knew the players and was pivotal in how we played..... not dissimilar to Walter taking over from Souness. However, right now, these players have chucked it. Think it now needs something more - and I say that as someone who really likes Michael Beale and would have happily taken him as manager when Gerrard left
  15. He is desperate for the Rangers job. Only job he really wants. After we dropped 7 points behind he and I were chatting on Whatsapp and he said "I would still win the league from here", so doesnt lack confidence. Would love to see him at Rangers, but think he needs a bigger job than Kelty before getting that chance. He gets rejected for jobs because he refuses to be a "Yes man" - lost out on Dundee Utd job that way. One thing - he knows what it takes at Rangers and wouldnt settle for half-hearted effort. Still speaks fondly of Walter as being like a Dad to him so you just know some of that passion for Rangers has rubbed off on him. He also appreciates the fact that he is better liked at Rangers than he is at Hibs, despite being a Hibs fan - once had to leave a game at Easter Road because of the vile abuse he was being subjected to.... in front of his two young sons... and this from a guy who had two stints at Hibs where he played for free. Just can't see us giving him that chance - he also would make changes at Ibrox if he came in - again, he isnt a yes man and thinks that certain elements of the playing side of the club are being run very poorly - I wont name names though....
  16. Can't believe my old pal Kevin Thomson isnt on the list
  17. Maybe we should be looking at the Saudi coach......
  18. I dont think we were horseshoe at all when Beale was here.
  19. What British football experience did Ange have before coming in and how has he done ?

    GvB future

I honestly can't grasp how you can put Matondo in the "good" group
  21. Those corners are soul destroying. It is so abundantly clear they dont work, yet we persist. Try some short ones, try some to the edge of the box, try some inswingers on top of the keeper.... Nope, lets float those outswingers miles up in the air and make it easy to defend against. Amateur is the only way to describe our set pieces
  22. Which part of ANY of this does Kent not offer ?
  23. Thanks for pulling that for Bill mate. 6% is a nice healthy coupon if you can get it, though also not unreasonable.
  24. Oranges and apples mate. Revenue is an income statement item. Repayment of loans is a Balance Sheet item (other than interest on loans). The 6 mill to SD was treated as a one-off exceptional item (obviously it wasnt a loan but a settled figure).
  25. Far too many to vote for in such an award
