It's a bit of an over-reaction to suggest that the team has a mental problem. We've played 21 league games and lost twice and drawn twice and are sill in Europe. That league form was only matched once during the 9IAR run (in 96-97). We had poorer league form in the other 8 seasons. Are you suggesting that the teams in these other 8 seasons also had mental problems? Bad performances happen every season. We lose the odd game unexpectedly. It happens every year. It doesn't reflect on the mentality of a team.

I don't have the same distance to travel but still apply the same logic at times. If I leave 3 or 4 minutes early then it can save 30-45 minutes in a traffic queue getting out of the Albion. I don't do it every week but if we're winning comfortably then I do it sometimes.

My mate, who has had a season ticket for 33 years, doesn't go a lot these days due to illness/old age. He often does give it to someone else but it seems unfair to punish people like him who'd love to go every week but just aren't up to it, but enjoy it when they can.
