  1. It should be full disclosure but as most of it made up the RIFC accounts there shouldn't be any surprises.....in theory.
  2. I also don't have an issue with the price rise and expected it to be slightly higher. I don't have a problem with the renewals being before the completion of the 120day review. I won't believe that the directors will implement anything contained in it so it's an irrelevance in my decision on renewing. I am disappointed that the 4 payment option has disappeared and is sympatmatic of the disdain that the directors hold for the supporters.
  3. Perhaps it is no mean feat, but there was little pressure in many of these games. When it came to must win games, such as yesterday, We have been found wanting on many occasions. I've not been one to criticise Ally but continuous poor performances in cup competitions suggests he does not have motivational skills.
  4. Any recommendations for parking? I'm going to be coming from the Leith Docks direction.
  5. Quality not quantity. However it's quite interesting the number of accountants that have sprung up over the past few years who are willing to comment on our accounts. By the time I get round to looking at them, they have now been fully dissected by others.
  6. Accounts now acknowledged as received by Companies House but not available for inspection yet.
  7. I think I'm in MRE for the game, which is a bit of comedown for me as well.
  8. Sarti is a strange place for them to go given it's regularly frequented by a couple of board members who are upstanding members of the community.
  9. If you love your team, step down and resign!
  10. So they think it makes sense to release full year accounts to 30th June 2013 at the same time as half year accounts to 31/12/13? Makes no sense to me. Accounts still don't appear to have been registered at Companies House.
  11. So what? The RST didn't canvas its members when it set up BuyRangers. 100% of its members don't agree with every decision that it makes. It can't possibly get 100% buy in. However if the RST board suggested that the RST should not be involved with fan involvement or fan ownership anymore then I'd call for their resignation as it's such a big turnaround from its original purpose. That's the point.
  12. Yeah, there's negatives as well as positives. It's up to everyone to weigh them up and form a view. However can we not turn the thread into a VB bitching session or it will be closed again.
  13. And on at least 2 occasions before that, if memory serves me.
  14. NARSA is small? LOL. The RFFF has members? Do they have a list of them?
  15. I have already given an example of the BBC. where they have organised protests, compiled dossiers and attempted to change things through meetings.
  16. It would be an interesting debate as there are some parallels with the way that the F word and H words are used in Scotland (although there are obvious differences in both cases). I wonder if they would be interested in having a H word debate but guess that abuse of white Protestants don't feature highly in their priorities. http://www.kickitout.org/join-spurs-legend-garth-crooks-for-free-y-word-debate/
  17. I largely agree with the point that the VBs are making. I was going to go into it in more detail but it's now been covered by the NARSA thread. However they do themselves no favours by referring to Mark Dingwall and Chris Graham specifically, as it comes across as obsessive and jealousy respectively. They would also be better not to make claims about the majority of the support and bring in less relevant issues about the season tickets. They need to take a step back at times at times and try not to form their opinion based on the opposite of FF. Yes, they got it wrong on Whyte but they did a lot of great work on stuff like the BBC, much of it unseen and unheralded.
  18. I reckon I know half the RFFF committee and don't have a problem with any of them, although will criticise or praise any of them for specific actions. I did complain about the Dunfermline payment and seem to recall being a lone voice on FF when doing it, so it's not the first opportunity for me. It would be an idea for the use of the cash to be redefined, but this just doesn't fall into the ball park of areas that should be up for discussion in my opinion. However, hopefully there can be a sensible discussion and the allowable uses can be formally agreed upon, It comes across to me as a "pet project" of one or two on the committee and that's annoying to me, in the same way as the "get it up ye, Arabs" payment to Dunfermline was. A valid point.
  19. The cause was not ambiguous. It was quite clear what the cash was for. However the RFFF committee did an immediate about turn and used the cash for something that they said it wouldn't be. It's also not a personal plaything to be used for any cause that the RFFF committee believe in, no matter how compelling the argument is. It seems that the ends justifies the means.
  20. I've got no desire to do that. I don't see why I can't be unhappy with the handling of this but want to leave my donations there. That's a big assumption, and not one that I'm convinced is correct. Easdale never had any intention of taking anyone to court, and I doubt that the RFFF had any impact on proceedings.
  21. I'd say that NARSA and VB are polar opposites of the support and to suggest that there's a concerted campaign seems extremely far-fetched. Absolutely. It is far removed from the original reasons for the contributions. The fact that the it was even felt to be considered throws the committee's judgment into question. Although we all have feelings about it, the case is effectively a civil one that doesn't involve the club. I would have been happy to contribute to it personally but it has NOTHING to do with RFFF and as such the cash cannot be used for it.
