Home Away Third But all nice

And yet many of them won't see the irony that they go to games and hold up flags with that colour on it....

It's nice to see Rangers twitter get behind a strip release. Seems to be 100% in favour.

Rangers Win SPFL Apology and Compensation as Cinch Row Resolved
Bluedell replied to BEARGER's topic in Rangers Chat
The SPFL sub-committee appointed to deal with the "independent" review of the SPFL are Chris McKay of Celtic, Karyn McCluskey who is a SPFL non-exec director who is a Celtic fan and James MacDonald of Ross County, so there's at least 2 of them who will be looking after Doncaster and Celtic's best interests. -

If it's a choice between keeping him or selling him for £4m and bringing in Danilo then I'd go for the latter. From the little I know Danilo is an upgrade on Sakala. -

Apparently Sterling said last week that he plays at right back or left back but doesn't play centre back. -

Goldson, Souttar, Davies and TBA/Panzo. It was also suggested that was the case by Davie Edgar on H&H, and presumably he gets some inside info. It was said if Davies was sold then we'd look to bring in another CB. However ultimately I don't know for sure, but can't imagine we'd be going with Balogun as number 4 given our expenditure elsewhere. It wouldn't make sense. -

I'd look upon Balogun as being brought in to be our 5th choice centre half (I'd hope), and yes, I'm happy with that. We've got a player who knows the club and can hopefully do a job if called upon. Whoever we're going to have as our 5th choice will have some issues. -

King really isn't that good at the moment. He'll hopefully turn into a good player but he's not there yet. Whether he's better than Balogun is definitely arguable. However given the injury to King, Goldson still isn't fit, Souttar is unreliable and Davies might be on his way, getting Balogun in as a quick backup isn't the daftest thing. -

Very bad tackle by Lammers on King apparently. -
Rate was around 1.65 back then.

A waster, who is one ex-player I can't be bothered with. After his injury in early Jan in his first season he managed a total of 2 goals (I believe) in his remaining 3 and a half years with the club, and a total of 3 appearances over his last 3 seasons with us.

Not sure why Porrini, Reyna and Miko are doing on the list?

I'm a bit concerned as to who is playing in central defence for the European qualifiers. Guess it's Souttar and Davies. -
My favourite game before the run to Seville. The drive back along PRW after was a sight to behold.

I'm exactly the same as this. One of my major problem with the bigger allocation is that they get prime seats and we get obstructed seats out of view. It's helping them more than it's helping us, and it almost come across as acting as Celtic's bitches if you want them to have a bigger allocation. I'm not sure what my view would have been back in the day when I didn't want to miss any domestic games, but I suspect that it wouldn't have been clear cut as it is now (although I was guaranteed an away ticket during the 90s, so I'd have been OK.)

There was a suggestion on H&H that we're looking for £500K for Wright. -
I think it's 20%? However the police ultimately can dictate so it could be (a lot) less.

If Ellis Simms is worth £8 million then we got a bargain! -
Ideally we would do that for sets of fans. However it would create more security issues in regards getting in and out of the stadium, but if that could be overcome then we should definitely look at it.
-
I reckon Celtic tried to pressure us into giving them the whole Broomloan by giving us nothing for the last set of games last season. They can see the advantage that they get from that compared to our fans being stuck out of sight, with obstructed view at Parkhead. Their fans will probably be pressuring their board to get the full allocation too. As we're first this time, we can just go down the route of the 700 and it's now up to them whether they accept it or not. Whether it's 700 or nil, whatever's decided will probably end up being the norm.

Remembering that over £13 of an £80 shirt is VAT.
