No. He's not yet up to speed with OF games and we would probably been a poorer team with him in it, particularly given the tactics of having a front two with pace. However he comes into his own when we're facing a low block. He has been the difference for us collecting all 3 points against stuffy teams on quite a few occasions.

They were never getting anything from this game. The next two are more important. Hopefully they'll get enough against Wolves and Bournemouth. Good to see Patterson playing regularly now.

There was a couple of months before the world cup where he seemed unable to put in a decent cross, match after match, which makes his nomination as POTY baffling. His crossing last season was far superior.

Agreed. We played with our 3rd choice keeper, 2nd choice left back, 4th choice centre back and our 7th and 8th choice forwards (missing Morelos, Kent, Roofe, Colak, Lawrence and Tillman), and were also missing 2 midfielders.

Whereas a win would take the monkey off not winning off Beale's back, including some of the pressure from the "Beale out" fans, plus sew doubts and knock the confidence of the celtic players. We don't want them going into next season with the winning mentality that they've had this season, ad it tends to be self-perpetuating, as we found during NIAR.

Agreed. We did it with Diallo last year and it took him months to recover. We've seen the support turn on Matondo, for example, and is in general very unforgiving at the moment. It could destroy a player's confidence if they are thrown in.

Jack and Colak will probably still be injured (?), and there's no way we should be playing Yilmaz as part of a back 3. He's not suited to that role. With a back 3 and central midfield made up of players largely based in the centre of the park, who is going to deal with Jota and Abada? Surely we need full backs to counter them?

No. The OF game has a different set of priorities to ANY other. Surely you understand that?

Every game against Celtic should only have one goal and that's to win. Experimentation and evaluation can take place in other games.
