Edu is out for a while as well, and Smith has been playing poorly up until the Hearts game.

Sir David Murray races to find new Rangers owner
Bluedell replied to johnnyk's topic in Rangers Chat
It's a crap article. The only name they dredge up is Dave King, who is having major problems with the South African tax authorities and is extremely unlikely to invest any further cash in the club. Uninformed speculation at its worst.- 15 replies

Have you got a link for that, mate?

We all know Celtic's feeble away record in the Champions League (no wins in how many attempts?) but we hear plenty about Cetic's great home record and how Celtic Park is a "fortess" but looking at the evidence that's just not the case. It's currently standing at only 1 win out of the last 6 home European games. I know it's wrong to kick a man when he's down but..... :spl:

So what was he doing on the board? -

I guess it'd be ill-fitting not to make a tribute, but even so........ -

It's probably just a continuation of the current one. -

I don't see any reason why Murray resigning as a director points towards him selling his shares any time soon. The two would normally be done at the same time. New owners would result in a totally new board, and having two changes of chairman would cuase less stability, not more. -
Breaking News - Murray Steps Down as Chairman
Bluedell replied to Yieldshields loyal's topic in Rangers Chat
While McClelland was Chairman, I don't think for a moment that there were any decisions made that Murray wasn't involved in. He was still a director, and still pulling the strings. I get the feeling that he will be much more hands-off this time around, and would only get involved in decisions on increasing bank lending, but will allow the others to run the club from month-to-month. -

Not sure that I understand the question? I was agreeing with your statement on McClelland. -

My take on it. The banks are putting pressure on and Murray doesn't like or want to be told what to do, so he's chucked his toys out of the pram and resigned, leaving the remaining directors to run the company, while he will just sit back as owner but nothing else. -

Last time he only stood down as Chairman, but was stll a director. This time he has resigned as a director as well, which suggests more permanency. -

You would think they would be more worried about how we can afford to buy a new centre half. Good to see that they have their priorities right. -

I doubt that he will supply any money. -

The Beautiful Game - Leaving the working man behind
Bluedell replied to Norris Cole's topic in Rangers Chat
If RSCs major complaint is having too many tickets then the club should allocate more tickets to individuals and less to RSCs. Simples. -

When did the Tynecastle tickets go on sale? How do you get them? I certainly never heard about it. It's great for all these people who have got lots of time to find out these things and arrange to buy the tickets, but not everybody can do that. Why does your RSC always have spare tickets? Does it apply for too many? There's more to the Rangers support than RSCs. -

What we need is the club to take over the allocation of away tickets for ALL SPL games. Don't know that it would reduce the tickets on sale but it would make oit far easier for the fans to get the tickets. -
