It's a shame that this improved communication doesn't include the availability to members of minutes of the 2008 AGM. That makes it a little difficult to know what commitments they should be fulfilling.

A bonus for us.

S_A, David Edgar is remaining as a RST media spokesman. He has just resigned as vice-chairman.
-
I don't think that should make it more likely for a deal to be happening. Would Murray have resigned as a director and allowed Johnston to take over as Chairman if a deal was only 70% done? He should know as well as anyone that it could fall through and he'd feel fairly stupid if that happened. I just don't see him resigning as a director makes a sale more likely.

To be pedantic (moi?, surely not), Edgar and Martin are remaining on the Board, they are just standing down from their positions of vice-chairman and secretary. There are 2 coming on board, one of whom is a good guy. (Don't know the other)...best of luck, mate, you'll need it. As for Gilligan, he stood down a year ago, and not "earlier in the year" as the RST said.

Same ol', same ol'. One of these days it'll be true.

Aye, easy mistake to make. How did Rangers get on against Motherwell?

As a bit of background, BallochBear met up with Spiers and thought of him as a good guy. Ended up getting involved with him on a radio programme, despite the advice of me, Frankie and Covenanter, and unsurprisingly got stitched up. This doesn't make his statement any less true, but just thought I'd throw it in.

Thanks, Norris. Keep us updated with developments on this one, if you don't mind.

Andy Kerr is President of the Assembly and him and Ross Blyth, the VP are the main guys behind the website. More Ross than andy in respect of the technical side. They both appeared to be happy to accept help, so you could drop them an email at rangers.assembly@fsmail.net if you or anyone else wanted to help.

Burley has done an average job as scotland manager, no better. I don't know that he necessarily deserves the sack, but it should certainly be debated. I was actually a Burley supporter until the boozegate incidents, which he handled so badly, and he has now lost my respect. Why is sticking the viccies up at reporters any worse than what Scott Brown did against Macedonia? Worthy of a sine die ban? Hardly. The greeting after the Norway game about refereeing decisions was pathetic. Sometimes you have to accept that you weren't good enough on the night. There was some bad luck against Macedonia away and the Dutch at home and I guess that needs to be considered. I also thnk it's a bit harsh for people to say that he only got the job because of Hearts. he was manager of the year in England. So, should he go? The lack of great candidates suggests that there may not be anyone better (Souness hasn't managed in years, for example), although he has lost the respect of the public and the press, if not the Tartan army. Strachan would be the obvious candidate but would he take it, and risk losing the kudos he got for 3 championships and 2 CL last 16s? Doubtful. The bottom line is that I don't really care, and for that in itself, he has to take some blame.

He did play for us competitively.

I would not be confortable with a blatent showing of unsportsmanship from a Rangers player.

No, the other one.

Bloke goes into S & M club and asks how much it is for humiliation... she replies..£37.50.. Bloke asks what he gets for that.. she replies... .. the new celtic away top.....

Yes, well done to all involved.

I don't think it matters how much you get paid. It should still be a basic right that individuals are allowed privacy as to how much they get paid. Many business leaders have to forego that right (eg Martin Bain) due to the law but other than that, it generally shouldn't be known. I remember the days when the accounts of companies listed what people get paid (over £30K) in bands of £5K. In 1989, the Rangers accounts showed 8 people getting paid over £100K for example, with the highest on £200K-£205K....although some of these may have been our basketball players.

Celtic's Scots don't want to play for Scotland so let their non-Scots.
-
So you think Macedonia's bad sportsmanship is wrong, but not Scotland's?
-
And whose fault is that? Brown's antics led to McFadden being booked and missing the game on Wednesday.
