    There's a difference between allowing the club to be proactive on the issue and reactive. Edu has prevented the club from dealing with it on a proactive basis. It would have been much better if the first time the press heard about it was when Rangers made a statement on it.

    That's probably a good example of why I don't read FF so much these days. The quality of debate has suffered with too many good posters not on it any more for a number of reasons.

    Can't say I've noticed him being revered or glorified. He does have potential, and perhaps it's this that people hold onto. Once he gets a run, we can see if this potential will be realised.

    I haven't noticed it at any of the games that I've been at, but admittedly I haven't been at them all.

    The booing seemed to me to only come from one area of the ground....the Broomloan Road stand.

    Once Lafferty has been given a chance to get match fit (5 starts in a row?) then criticise him. He doesn't appear match fit at the moment.

    There seems to have been a few people leaving this year, and some joining the UBs. I'm not really aware of the politics involved in the singing sections so don't know anything further.

    I see that the Club Deck Loyal have announced that they have disbanded. Sad news indeed. They made a great effort in bringing colour and noise to the stadium and produced a lot of great and innovative banners. I've also been at a couple of their nights and a great time was had by all. To Hagi, JBIG and all the others involved over the past few years - well done. You should be proud of what you achieved, and will be be sorely missed.

    Can't remember the exact amount but just under 1,300.

    Aims? If the RST are moving away from this aim then they should perhaps look at stopping calling themselves a Supporters Trust? Rather than looking at new aims, perhaps they should be revisting their current aim and asking why they are not doing more (/something) in that regard?

    Membership numbers were clearly stated in the accounts, so can't be a big secret anyway.

    The club have put spin onto the story. I have no confidence that this version is the "real story". The club have not explained why there was not a phone call on the Thursday to Smith giving him a full explanation of what was happening, together with constant updates, throughout Thursday and Friday.

    It takes 5 minutes to make a call to report it and give the full story to Smith. The delay in doing that suggests that there is more to the story and this is just a cover-up.

    I find it unbelievable that it was incorrect for the goal to be awarded. Crazy rule that could be abused in so many ways. Lawwell will be looking into this as we speak.

    Totally unfair to compare this to Cuellar, who never acted in anything other than in a professional manner while he was at the club.

    I'd agree. Their crime was less.

    Can we afford not to? We let Bougherra away with it and it sets a precedent. Can we then punish Mendes when he does it? Or are the Scots the only ones to get punished? We would appear weak and the long-term consequences could be far worse than just losing 3 points in the CL. As you say, if anyone is going to punish him, it's Smith. Let's hope he plays this right, whatever he decides.

    I'd agree. Murray's retreat, as you put it, smacks of just not wanting to face the music at the club's poor financial problems caused by last year's loss, and resulting in the club's inability to sign anyone. He has previous. He refused to face the shareholders, even though he was a director and owned the club, when he stood down as chairman before. He is walking away from a situation that he has created and while it may allow his to sleep easier in bed, it has just created uncertainty throughout the club and it is suffering as a result.
