  1. The ref didn't decide it wasn't a penalty. How could be when he awarded a bye kick? He couldn't have seen the handball.
  2. Did the SPFL not release the still to Sky? The cheating is the VAR. It was handball and surely nobody is denying that. The ref apparently didn't see it, hence the bye kick. VAR should therefore highlight that there was a handball and allow the ref to decide on whether it's a penalty. Surely it's the ref that should make that decision?
  3. Let's ignore the IFAB rules because they're quoted by a journalist? 😂 I'm not sure of the relevance that it was accidental.
  4. But dB's post suggests he's wrong, so maybe it should have been a penalty? I know we can become entrenched in our views on things like this but there's a strong argument to say it should have been given.
  5. He may or may not have been in an offside position but either way, it's not clear.
  6. As dB has pointed out, I believe that's incorrect.
  7. Agreed. The number of bears saying it's not a penalty because it goes against their agenda of hating Dessers is unbelievable.
  8. We're not great but that shouldn't be a reason for ignoring corrupt refereeing. Are we only allowed to highlight it when we play well?
  9. They have to get the ref to look at it. He didn't see it as he didn't give the corner, so VAR has to get the ref to look at it, unless there's cheating involved.
  10. So basically replace the whole team in January.
  11. So why say "An entire new front 3. Left to right we are powderpuff as hell and not close to being good enough. That's priority for me."?
  12. You think replacing Sima is a priority? Seriously? 😳
  13. He's turned St Johnstone around. He may be old school but obviously that's what some teams need.
  14. I didn't think Dowell played that well. McCausland did well but I'll go for Dessers as well. It was noticeable that the team started playing much further up the park as soon as he came on.
  15. We need a forward. We can't only have Dessers playing in that position for 90 minutes every week. We can't rely on McCausland every week so having someone else on the right would also be good. We may need a midfielder depending on how long Raskin is out for.
  16. I don't recall McCausland playing on the left for the first team. If it's a physical game then I'd have thought we'd want to have Sima in there. If we were to rest him, I'd expect Matondo to come in for him rather than switching Wright.
  17. Clement isn't going to move away from his 4-2-3-1 that's been successful for him so far. Are you suggesting we play with 2 right wingers? Would Wright and McCausland not get in the way of each other?
  18. It's not rocket science for the committee to conclude that a reasonable allocation would be the same allocation that every other team receives, and the same as we got the last time we got tickets there. To not reach that conclusion means you have an agenda and that you set out determined not to rule against celtic. There is no fair outcome to this other than to keep out opposing fans. The 800 solution is unfair as Rangers fans have a restricted view and are stuck out the way of the TV cameras, but it's the one that our club could live with, but it seems that Celtic will not accept this under any circumstances, probably because they know that this is the least advantageous to their club. The European allocation still has the issues that the 800 solution has, results in a lot of unused seats and has potential segregation problems. It's forced on the club for some European games but it's not one that the police would be happy with. It also means a lot of Gers fans being moved from their seats. It's also been suggested that Celtic wouldn't accept this anyway, so no point in proposing it and weakening our position. The full stand solution is a non starter. We sell too many season tickets and why would the club sacrifice our fans and much needed income upfront to be Celtic's bitches and accommodate them? Again this solution favours celtic given the relative positions of the support in the grounds. I know some fans are willing to bend over and give celtic everything they want so that they have a chance of attending Parkhead but our club and our season ticket holders would suffer more and I don't think we should entertain the idea. I accept it's an emotive subject and I probably wouldn't go to the games so I'm not losing out if there's no away tickets. I wonder what my view would be in the 90s when I went to every game we had at Parkhead, including that unforgettable evening in 99. I really don't know but as things stand I've got no issues with not hearing their sectarian bile at Ibrox.
  19. We seem to have learned how to win when we're not at our best, which is a major step forward.
