  1. I'm fully behind Clemente; I think it's revealing how he has gradually changed the style of play and has been willing - albeit belatedly - to drop certain players. I disagree with Cammy about the Spurs game being less important than today's v Rossco: beat Spurs and our stock in Europe rises and it becomes easier to recruit players. We have already lost the league but we can still regain some kudos by beating Spurs and the Keltic. I'm more optimistic now than a couple of months ago.
  2. Now, steady on.. we speak of the latter two in hushed tones.
  3. We are truly cursed. Feel worse now than when we were in the third division.
  4. Even the great Super Ally missed barrowloads too!
  5. Maybe off topic but I see that Fabio Silva scored the winner v Barcelona! Who was it who said that when you leave Rangers the only way is down?
  6. That miss by Dessers was almost Van Vossen-esque:if we had any doubts that he should be second choice striker then they are now removed. And if Muscat /McInnes are the alternatives then I would rather keep Clement; the latter has some status in Europe and will be more likely to attract quality players.
  7. Also Miller at Motherwell; for God's sake don't let the dark side get him: he won't be a first pick and they will sell him on for a big fee. He will walk into our side. Maybe McKenzie at Aberdeen.
  8. Well Steve Cooper is now available. I'm sorry but that is our level now.
  9. Be careful what you wish for; do you really want McInnes?
  10. We'd be better off with Scotty: he can always beam somebody up.
  11. Think that one is a given - just waiting to be announced. Sacking Mark Robbins has angered fans - he is a legend at the club.
  12. Makes me think of that stuff that folk made a fortune of from birds in the nineteenth century.
  13. He was excellent, covering up for Hanley's mistakes and poor positioning. Just needs to stay injury free and could be a future captain of Rangers and Scotland.
  14. Let us know what he has to say. I think RFC is still close to his heart though I hated him for dropping us for Liverpool at the time.
  15. I want to know what's happened to Bailey Rice. Think he was playing for Scotland under-19s the other night. If he is not going to be a starter for us then he should be let go. If 16 year olds can start and star for Barcelona or for EPL clubs then they can start in Scotland. Don't give me all this "the SPL is too competitive for youngsters as managers want to protect their jobs": the same applies in any of Europe's big leagues.
  16. Good call. Left back is another of our weak links now.
  17. Rubbish. A matter of public safety. Someone will get badly injured one day if it doesn't stop.
  18. Time these things were banned. With the surveillance we have shouldn't be difficult to identify who brings them in. Recently a player in Belgium lost 2 fingers trying to pick one up. They are not like ordinary fireworks.
  19. IF - if - we do sack him, a new manager will come in with a huge advantage: with no chairman, he won't need to fear the dreaded 'vote of confidence' from the chairman. So he will have the safest job in football.🤣
  20. I wanted to delete that post as Gonzo had already made the point but some of us will never manage modern technology!
  21. It's "Aye Ready" for goodness' sake. 😁
  22. I think I agree with you for the same reason. Phil won't drop Tav and he will be run ragged again v Maeda.
  23. Looks like them will await us in the final if we get there. I don't want a repeat of the horror show we get when Tav faces up to Maeda.
  24. Russell Martin might be available soon. Just saying....
