    A step in the right direction. The rst have obviously hit a nerve with their letter yesterday. Hopefully a renegotiation of the merchandise side of things will come next Ashley isn't stupid. He will know that he will not succeed without the fans backing. I'm not totally against Ashley. But he has to engage the fans and take our concerns on board. He has the financial clout that we so dearly need but their is no way that he will have our support the way thing are set up at the moment. It is my opinion that the easdales and the faceless shareholders have already brokered a deal with Ashley for their shares and his take over of the club is a fore gone conclusion. I hope Ashley sees the light and does what's right for our club . The benefits for both parties are monumental.

    Its been hard to second guess anyone who has come to the fore where the running of our club is concerned to the point its not even worth the effort any more. Three bids came in to safeguard the future of our club and Ashley came out top with the least attractive bid. 2 million and control of the club that he only owns 9 % of. Gets you thinking what the hells going on doesnt it! Not really hard to work out though. Of the three bidders Ashley is in the best position to offer the easdales and the faceless investors the best price for their shares when the time comes to sell. they are simply protecting their own interests. As for the club and the fans, well they are secondary to the needs of the fore mentioned. as for Ashley and his plans, in the grand scheme of things he sees our club as the vehicle that will catapult his Sports direct empire into Europe. He wont be doing anything for the good of our club, hell be doing everything for the good of sports direct. Is this what you want for Rangers football club? I certainly dont. Weve seen the current board empty half the stadium and they should remember the words of jock stein, " football without fans is nothing". Its the only form of protest that we have as fans. Some mock those who choose to vote with their feet but right now its the only voice the fans have but its also the strongest. Ashley may have strengthened his grip on our club but he has a long way to go before he gains outright control. What the fans do next will dictate the future of the club for years to come. i just hope they get it right.

    There's no way I'm supporting sports direct united, that's exactly what Ashley will turn us into I'm fucking livid at those who still go through the doors at I ibrox and fill the coffers of those who are carving up our club. They are every bit as culpable as the cretins in the board room.

    Sounds like king wants the fans to pressure Ashley. I would organise a protest where no one enters the stadium before kickoff at the next home game with a solitary banner inside the stadium telling Ashley where to go.

    ashley did invest a shit load of money into newcastle and got his fingers seriously burned (140 million i think) when he brought sam allardyce in. His way of thinking changed somewhat after that and he recouped his losses by any means. the bottom line with Ashley is that should he get control of our club we will become a subsidiary company to Sports Direct. We really do need to get a game plan together and unite against him when push comes to shove. That means a total boycott of everything rangers untill he gets the message

    ashely doesnt stand a chance if there are no fans buying season tickets and club merchandise. and thats exactly whats going to happen if he thinks hes going to steam roll everyone into to submission. im one of the fans who will take this stand.

    not a chance. im in no doubt the board will sell up once we get to the top teir. and they wont give a toss how they get there. They have shown more than enough contempt towards the fans with their lies and deceit to the point that even the most oblivious fan can smell a rat. they have to be cut off financially. they have to be starved out. they are running the club by the seat of their pants and if they can make it to the end of the season albeit on their hands and knees then their mission will be accomplished.

    Sounds like your brains dead and your comments actually disgust me. it tears the hearts out of fans not attending home games. you might not mind the fact that the current board are running our club into the ground but there are quite a few that do. thats why there are empty seats. The current board expected the blind loyalty (that you demand as well) of the fans to finance their raping of our club but its not going to happen. To actually blame the fans that are staying away just shows how ignorant and oblivious you are to the current state of affairs at Ibrox. you really should do some homework from that comfy armchair of yours (right after you pull your head out of your arse) before you start berrating anybody on here. us stay away fans have been forced to make a choice for the good of the club we love. not because we wanted to, we had to. and its lucky for the club that we do, our actions just might save that mighty Rangers that you speak of in the long term. so the likes of you can pay your 150 quid a year on rangers TV.
