Gordon Waddell: Rangers fans must realise that......
gisabeer replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
If any of the fan groups bought shares in the lastest instalment then they have pissed their money away. Only a fool would put their money anywhere near this lot. We wont be getting our club back any time soon. In fact i very much doubt we will get it back at all. I have been an advocate of boycotting games for quite a few months now so nothing in this newspaper article is new to me. I have been well aware that the board have been lining their pockets from day one and havent put a penny anywhere near the club as a result. its staring us all in the face. you have to be a real fucking idiot not to see it. but still they go through the turnstiles handing over thier money to prop up the moneygrabbing leeches who run our club. Stupidity at its finest.- 90 replies

and what does lining the rotten bunches pockets achieve?

given the manner in which we are being run into the ground by this current lot of shysters i fully expect admin to happen in the not so distant future. whatsmore i think its been their plan all along. to what end i dont know, but everything they have done so far has flown in the face of what should have been done on and off the park. no other business in the world would tolerate the levels of incompetence and mismanagement that we are witnessing at the moment at our club and i can only draw to the conclusion that there is an ulterior motive behind their actions.

and they will continue to do so as long as there are people going to pay to watch the team. an empty stadium is the the only thing that will move this lot. starve the fuckers out. -

RST statement regarding the new 'Open Offer' of shares
gisabeer replied to the gunslinger's topic in Rangers Chat
given that administration is a very real possibility, is it wise to buy shares at this current time? -
you really cant make the fiasco that were in up. 70 million pissed up a wall in 18 months. Money being shipped out the club at all angles. Inflated salaries on and off the park with gross mismanagement being being the order of the day. We now find ourselves living on the edge of oblivion once again. Our current board are way out of their depth. Backed by shareholders who bought into the charles green revolution, only to find out that in the grand scheme of things that hes taken everyone for a ride. We are being run by a board who are guilty of stupidity, niavety and downright arrogance. These guys get to see the books. They knew about mike ashley and the incredible deals he struck with Green. The ones with no benefit to the club whatsoever. They lie to the the fans promising things that they cant produce when the chips are down but still expect the fans to come through the gates to finance their incompetence. Now we are living on a week to week basis with the club being run by the seat of its pants. There is only one way the club can go from now on and that is down. No amount of share buying from supporters groups or anyone else is going to save the club. it will only prolong the agony. Administration looms again and its not if, its when. and it will be back to the drawing board again.

They could have not employed a Mr nash on 200 grand a year.

i wouldnt invest 30 million in the club at this given moment if i had it. were talking about a group of shysters who rattled 70 mill in 18 months, and they have the bloody cheek to come out and ask for more. Administration is inevitable and the fans should speed things up by not going to games. they will strip the place bare untill there is nothing left. They dont give a flying fuck about Rangers Football club. There are still far too many people who still dont realise this. Clinging on to their loyalty to the Rangers, oblivious to whats actually going on. blind stupidity if you ask me. they'll notice though when we have a carcass left for a club.

The offer was only open to existing shareholders
-
not an expert by any means but due to the fact that DK was offered the oppertunity to underwrite the 4 million share issue it would indicate that he already owns shares.

McCoists wage bill is a real issue. Throwing big bucks at seasoned pros season after season has cost us a fortune. The clean slate he had will need to be wiped clean again if and when we get back up to the top flight. He was supposed to be building a squad for the future, instead we have a team of hasbeens who are simply not good enough for where we want to be. as for his youth policy, Im pretty sure that the the likes of McKay Gallacher and Crawford could have done every bit as well as their overpayed counterparts. If these kids have any ambition to be a footballer they should ask the manager to rip up their contracts, theyre not going to get the chance under his governance.

Latest share offer news from LSE (Grim, grim stuff)
gisabeer replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
if that landed in greenock it would have been nicked! -
I assumed that it was dave king. wasnt stating that it was him. post is pretty clear on that.
-
assuming the investment is from dave king it would be fair to say that he would want to run the show. If it is true that investment has been offered and has been refused, it brings the intentions of the board into question. what ever they are up to it isnt for the benefit of the club. They will reach their goals by any means. we could end up with a carcass by the time they are finished.

It was time for the board to hold up their hands and admit defeat when the 10 mill share issue plan failed. This new plan to raise 4 million reeks of desperation they must surely realise that the game in now up. There is no way back for them now and deep down they will know it. They are and have been running the club by the seat of their pants for quite some time now and im at a complete loss to think how they can continue in such a vein. The fans need to show this board a show of no confidence and give them a helping hand out the door. Either boycott the next game or dont enter the stadium till the game kicks off, let them know that its time to go. perilous times are ahead folks and we need to show this rotten band of profiteers where the exit door is. -
fuck maribor missed another sitter!

no simply, McCoist never learns and that is a damning indictment for any manager. Every action McCoist takes is in stark contrast to what he should actually be doing. We dont need a third keeper so we buy one. We need to hold on to our best young talents so we let a promising keeper (oh the irony) and charlie telfer walk out the door. We need to build a squad for the top flight so we let a dozen contracts run out at the end of the season. i could go on all night. Gross negligence of the highest order. It really does break my fucking heart every time i see McCoists face. We are a total shambles. why the hell cant he see whats staring him in the face? i can see it FFS. We all can see it. It will be a real blessing in disguise the day the board run out of money. We only have two home games between september and october, couple that with the falling attendances and you soon realise that there are perilous times ahead. the alarm bells for me started ringing when the board failed to raise the 10 million through a share issue. now it seems they only need 4 million. 6 million pound deficit there. Either that or the Easedales found the very sum down the back of their couch (and it wouldnt be the first time that happened). When the shit hits the fan in the very near future and we come out the other side (again!) we will need to wipe the mess that our manager and board have left us in. Clean slates all around please.

Months after review, finance questions still key at Ibrox
gisabeer replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
When the board announced that they had investors lined up i believe they thought they could bring Charles Green back in. Dont think they thought that one through enough. Given the fact that between september and october we only have two home games i think the board will finally be brought to their knees. Could be even sooner if the fans boycotted the next couple of home games. We could be getting rid of them sooner than you think. heres hoping. -
I thank ally for that, but I dont see the connection here. In what way does it affect his managerial skills?
