Papac is not too bad but he loses concentration sometimes, and it costs us. He's by no means alone in that respect mind you. Personally, I wouldn't be too bothered if he went but I'd be concerned about the quality of any replcement given our soon-to-be-very-real cost-cutting initiative, which I don't think most if us have even got our heads around yet. If we dont win the SPL its going to be absolutely horrendous. -
Never met Connal but I hear he's a really nice guy. Exchanged a few emails with him relating to the foundation and he always gets back to you - quick & friendly. If RFC as a whole operated this way a lot of people would be a lot happier! Well done to all involved.

Fergie has been starting to bug me recently - I'm frustrated that he used to offer us so much, but now he seems to offer less. That's the bottom line. The last time he had a really impressive spell which lasted for a couple of months was the start of least season if I recall correctly; i.e. 18 months ago. That being the case, what are we to conclude? He used to stand out in our team, now he rarely does. Even when the team are not exactly the most pleasing on the eye. The question is; would a different player in our squad improve the team? I'm honestly not so sure and I also don't think Ferguson's the main problem in the team and that he's being heavily criticised because people know how good he was. -
As bmck rightly says, the issue all comes down to trust. And for what it's worth I also think the fact there are/were supposedly inappropriate leaks from inside the board says quite a lot about quite a few things.

Obviously I'd prefer Smith to be doing various things better, but at least here he talks like it really affects him. You don't hear that genuinely often enough. Strangely, I read excerpts from this media conference/interview somewhere else today and the difference in reporting angle is quite remarkable.

... I'd say. Celtic are still pish, we still have to play them at home. It's depressing that the huge consequences of this season's SPL are in the hands of such a seemingly inept bunch of people though.

Elephant in the room, this one. Seeing as TBB's supposedly sectarian aspect is the "F" word, I've always been of the view that this word is up for grabs at any point in the future. We got beaten up for it before, what makes people think we won't again? Over the past year various songs have crept back in again, everybody knows it, there's no point in denying it. Whether it's sectarian or not is another matter - this has just been waiting to blow up again imho. If not this time, then another - you can be 100% sure that there's an army of 'offended' tims petitioning UEFA etc every time they hear it on the telly.

I hope Smith doesn't transfer this attitude to the players. It always so sounds so understated and self-defeating. Aim high Rangers, go and fucking beat this mob.

Only the most twisted would like to see the team fail as a means to an end - everybody wants the same thing. Personally, I have made up my mind that I want serious change at Rangers. I can't be arsed going into it all again tonight, and fuck knows what Murray has done to get in a position to turn down an offer for Mendes after what he said on 9th January. Ideally we''ll win the league and it'll help the change along! WATP.

Really impressed that JF had barely hit the ground yesterday before he was up and grabbing the ball to take the penalty, realising that Boyd was off. Hopefully a new hero made his first real mark yeaterday!
