Copied this from FF, we do have some cretins in our support. I know it's a long shot but the Fifes Finest flag was taken yesterday at the game. These guys are not Ultras or wannabe casuals but just football fans that did a helluva lot to save their club. After the fundraising they had money left over and put it towards this flag...They just want it back no questions...It would reflect well on our club if they were given the flag back. If anybody has it i ll pick it up and drop it off to them

Why would Hannah or anyone else for that matter be at the fans board meetings? Surely all non board members would require to be invited to attend? Or am I missing something in the rules on this? -
I would like to think that nobody takes anything this eejit comes out with seriously, well not on here anyway.
-
Just to confirm I did not post the same on any other forum. I had read the original "exposes" on here.

Remember a few months back the VB came out with a couple of articles on some of actions played in our downfall by those in power in Scottish football? There was the "promise" of big news to come, what has happened to this ?

SKY news - Dave King thinks his offer will be acceptable to board.

Any word on new committee etc. did not manage to get along on Friday night, had a look at RST website but no report.

Meanwhile, South Africa-based businessman Dave King has told BBC Scotland that a newspaper report suggesting that he and other former Rangers directors are involved in a takeover is untrue. He also recently told the BBC that he had not been involved in discussions with anyone on the board. Taken from BBC

Something not quite right here. I've been banned from every other fans website, but no problems on GERSNET, just saying.

STV Reporting both Boyd and Mohsni offered suspensions

I do not think we should accept this, we should appeal. Chances are the bans would then be longer term. -

You are correct ST holders and those who purchased a membership elected the fans board from those who were selected to stand. All other fans had no say unless they wished to pay for the privilege. -

Sorry about the size of lettering on previous post, cannot seem to be able to change it. Not shouting, honest. -

Aye its "official" all right if you mean that it was brought into being by the board of directors. Democratically elected!! You taking the piss here? it was brought in by the club. the club selected the selectors, the selectors selected the "fans board". It could not be further away from democracy, which was the intention all along. -

How many "fans groups" do you think one club requires? And now we have another one. -

Time will tell. IMO it's just a "company Union" talking shop with no powers and further divides the support. -

Sorry to rain on the parade but those who are in anyway involved with this are part of the problem not the cure, IMO. -
Ok it was on FF in the lounge on a specific thread to discuss the referendum. I was expecting some criticism but it was way over the top IMO.

I also post on another forum. As soon as I admitted to being a yes voter the attacks started. I was a phoney, nationalist troll, tim, not a real Rangers fan etc. etc. Some of it was just pure hatred, it got me to thinking do I really want to be associated with these people? In fact I stayed away from the last two home games, not because of the board (although that may come) but due to not wanting to share the same space as these bigots. Now I know that not all supporters are the same and in fact 1000's voted yes and I will be back, but we seem to have a vocal minority who attend games who have issues that are more important to them than the team.

Why anyone would wish to be part of this no power talking shop is beyond me. just another divide and rule tactic by those in charge at present. -
BBC website Newcastle United: Mike Ashley says the club is not for sale Newcastle owner Mike Ashley says he has no plans to sell the club until at least the end of next season. It was reported on Thursday that he is ready to buy Scottish side Rangers, in which he already has a 9% stake. "The truth is Mike Ashley remains committed to Newcastle United," said a statement from the Premier League club. "This means that for the remainder of this season and at least until the end of next season, Mike Ashley will not sell Newcastle United at any price." Ashley also ruled out purchasing any further shares in Scottish Championship club Rangers. Buckinghamshire-born Ashley, who owns sports retailer Sports Direct, bought Newcastle in May 2007.
